As previously reported here on eWn (click here to read), former WWE ‘Tough Enough’ winner Matt Cappotelli, recently shared that he had been diagnosed with a brain tumor for the second time in his life. The first tumor came soon after Cappotelli signed his WWE contract.
A month ago, Cappotelli noted that he was undergoing surgery for the tumor and that the surgery went fine. Unfortunately this morning, the former WWE star had some sad news to share via Facebook:
Cappotelli: “Update: Diagnosis is in.
I have a grade IV GlioBlastoma Multiforme (GBM).
This is not the news I was looking forward to hearing or sharing, but it will in no way deter me from continuing my fight. Spinal tap this Friday will determine if the cancer cells have spread to my spinal fluid. Monday is a follow up with my team of doctors to determine the treatment steps needed to beat this. Thanx to everyone on #TEAMCAPP??”
