Check Out: Latest On COVID-19 Outbreak In WWE NXT

According to Fightful, the spread of COVID-19 in NXT happened due to an incident at the WWE Performance Center a couple weeks ago. The general belief is that one of the coaches at the PC got COVID-19 and was the source of the spread. Developmental trainees had been spending four days a week at a makeshift Performance Center training facility, with tests at least weekly. The talent are tested before any show that they are set to appear on. The original Performance Center is currently undergoing renovation and being completely sanitized.

WWE also implemented changes at yesterday’s NXT tapings. A large number of wrestlers were kept off the taping. Several extras that were meant to be in the crowd were either sent home or worked the battle royal.

The crowd was “limited” for last night’s episode due to this most recent outbreak.
