The Nashville Sports arena located at the Nashville Fairgrounds has had a long legacy with professional wrestling dating back to the 1970s.

The Nashville Fairgrounds have been home to Continental Wrestling Association, Ring of Honor, Total Non-Stop Action, and most recently Aro Lucha to name a few. Since it’s construction the venue has hosted over 300 professional wrestling events.

Everyone from Andre the Giant, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Stone Cold Steve Austin, the Road Warriors, the Rock and Roll Express, Randy Savage and AJ Styles have competed in the squared circle at the Nashville fairgrounds.

The venue nicknamed “The Asylum” from its association with TNA hosted NWA’s 70th Anniversary show. The main event saw Cody Rhodes vs Nick Aldis for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship in a 2 out of 3 falls match.

On June 1st, House Of Hardcore will be presenting “Farewell To The Fairgrounds” the very last wrestling show ever at this historic venue. Matches and talent will soon be announced.
