According to a report from Wrestling Observer Radio, CM Punk’s current deal with FOX to have him appear on WWE Backstage is likely for one show a month. Punk is finally back in the professional wrestling community with his regular appearances on the program, sparking some speculation that the former WWE Champion could find his way back into the squared circle at some point.
The report adds that WWE is “very negative” on the idea of Punk working another match for them. The feeling is that they already have enough part-timers with the likes of Goldberg, Edge, and more. There is also bitterness between the two parties, but apparently there is “more bitterness on WWE’s side”.
