As seen during Friday night’s WWE SmackDown broadcast, AJ Styles defeated Daniel Bryan in the finals of the Intercontinental title tournament to win the vacant belt. Following the win, Styles is now a WWE Triple Crown Champion as he’s been the World Heavyweight champion, United States champion, and now Intercontinental champion.
This is also his sixth overall singles WWE title win. He’s held the WWE Championship (twice), the US Championship (three times), and this is his first reign as Intercontinental champion.
