Edge worked the last match on his current WWE contract on a recent episode of SmackDown with a win over Sheamus. Since then, there has been speculation about what Edge will do, including potentially going to AEW.
Edge previously announced in a video on Twitter that he has a contract extension offer from WWE as his contract expires at the end of this month.
When WWE reportedly declined a contract request that Edge denied in that video, it added fuel to the fire that he is probably headed to AEW.
Dave Meltzer wrote in the Wrestling Observer that those in WWE believe Edge is likely on his way to AEW.
