On Monday morning, WWE confirmed that WWE Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey vs. Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair will headline the WrestleMania 35 event.
Pwinsider.com is reporting that the decision came down to the wire between the triple threat and the Seth Rollins vs. WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar match. It was added that the call to go with the women’s match is being seen internally as a major victory for the women’s division and for everyone involved in the storyline that led to the match.
WrestleMania 35 is scheduled to take place on Sunday, April 7, 2019 in East Rutherford, NJ at MetLife Stadium. This event airs on pay-per-view (PPV) and WWE Network.
