While he was mostly known as a singles performer throughout his career, there was a time when Jake Roberts considered forming a heel faction.
Speaking on the latest edition of his The Snake Pit podcast, Roberts shared some details about who would have been a part of his stable.
“The Snake” shared that there were three other talents he wanted to work with, and could have formed a compelling faction. Believe it or not, Roberts leaned toward some hardcore legends for his group.
You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:
Who he imagined for the faction: “Definitely would’ve liked to have worked with Mick [Foley]. I think our styles would’ve matched up pretty damn good, and I don’t think anybody would’ve gotten in the way. I would’ve liked to have seen Terry Funk in there as a threesome. Make him the ‘Godfather of Style’ or something, I don’t know. You’ve got Terry Funk, would’ve been great to be in there.”
The group’s final member: “[The] Berzerker. He would’ve been good to be in there.”
