Jerry Lynn addressed reports of frustration among wrestlers and others behind the scenes regarding the creative process in AEW.
Historically, Tony Khan has been good at keeping long-term storylines and booking plans in check, unlike WWE in the past, where Vince McMahon changed his mind frequently.
However, as noted by Dave Meltzer today on Wrestling Observer Radio, AEW creative has been finalized later than usual in recent weeks, leading to frustration among talent. The AEW producer and coach responded to the story on social media, which you can see below:
Because wrestlers and God knows who else have and continue to leak info to the sheets, podcasts, etc. So Tony tries to keep things confidential. You wouldn’t want to know everything before you see a movie. Anyone who leaks info is doing damage to the product and the industry.
