WWE Hall of Famer and AEW commentator Jim Ross was a big fan of the MJF vs. Kenny Omega match that took place on last week’s episode of AEW Collision.
The main event of last Saturday night’s episode of AEW Collision saw the Salt of the Earth defend the AEW World Championship against the Cleaner, with MJF picking up the “W.”
On the latest edition of his “Grilling JR” podcast, Good Ol’ JR called the match “outstanding.” He said,
“I thought it was an outstanding match, quite frankly. It told a good story. Made sense. Hard work. It just was a really good story I thought being told. I enjoyed calling it I was happy to be there certainly was a fun match to watch, but MJF and Kenny delivered.”
He continued, “They had a lot of pressure on them obviously, because expectations of that match were very high. So it’s all good. I enjoyed it. I thought it was a great outing for those dudes.”
MJF vs. Jay White for the AEW World Championship will be taking place at Full Gear 2023 on November 18th.
