Former WWE creative writer Jimmy Jacobs made a surprise appearance at Saturday’s WrestleCircus “CircusMania” event in Austin, Texas at the end of a Street Fight between Sami Callihan and Jordan Len-X.
Following the match, Sami Callihan got on the mic and declared that the independent scene runs through him and that he is the King of the Indies, which led to Jacobs coming out to a nice ovation. Jacobs talked about it being the firs time that he has stepped through the curtain and into the ring in two and a half years and said that he has spent that time writing promos for guys that couldn’t hold his mic and that getting fired for taking a selfie with The Young Bucks was actually cool.
Jacobs said that he will be returning to training in a few months and that he is back to claim the throne. Jacobs then attacked Sami, which saw Sami retreat to the back.
