As previously noted here on eWn, Shinsuke Nakamura defeated John Cena on tonight’s edition of SmackDown Live to become the new #1 contender for Jinder Mahal’s WWE Championship at SummerSlam.
During the match, Nakamura reversed one of Cena’s moves into an exploder-suplex and Cena landed horribly on the back of his neck/head.

Following the match, Shinsuke Nakamura went to shake John Cena’s hand and apologize to him for the suplex & Cena being the class act that he is; tells Shinsuke don’t say sorry & yells to the crowd that Nakamura is the next WWE Champion.
