Mark Briscoe is currently 0–2 in the ongoing AEW Continental Classic tournament, and that’s something he’s ready to try and change.

Speaking in a recent “Digital Exclusive” video on AEW’s official Twitter account, the 12-time ROH World Tag Team Champion said he’s no longer going to “hold back.” He said,

“Yeah man, second loss. Like I said, ain’t no damn shame in my game. You understand what I’m saying? I’ve been a tag guy my whole life, one of the best of all time in the tag team division. But now we’re doing singles matches dammit and I gotta figure this s**t out. I gotta figure it out.”

He continued, “I focus on what my daddy told me, “don’t worry about what’s behind you worry about what’s in front of you” and that’s what I’m doing. So the next three cats that I come up against in this Continental Classic tournament, ya’ll in trouble cause I ain’t holdin’ back, baby. I ain’t holding back. I know what I gotta do and I’m gonna do it. Dammit.”

Josh Alexander recently revealed that he suffered a shoulder injury at the Impact Wrestling Bound For Glory 2023 pay-per-view event, but the good news is that surgery is not required.

Speaking during a recent interview with Adrian Hernandez, the two-time Impact Wrestling World Champion revealed that he “tore up” his shoulder a bit while facing off against Alex Shelley at the October 21st pay-per-view event. He said,

“A little inside baseball, at Bound For Glory, in that main event with Alex Shelley, I tore up my shoulder a little bit. Nothing that required surgery or time off, but stuff that was ailing me the entire time. The next night is when we taped that match with Will Ospreay, and nothing was gonna [inaudible]…100%, moving without my left arm through most of that match. Just to be able to step foot in the ring with somebody like Will, who I’ve watched.”

Alexander continued, “Everybody’s seen, everybody knows how good he is. But to get in there and go one-on-one and realize the type of chemistry that we had together instantly, first time stepping foot in the ring, and to be able to deliver a match like that for the IMPACT crowd, that’s the kind of stuff that builds momentum. That’s the stuff that I want to be a part of.”
