Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson made a surprise return to WWE on last Monday’s ‘Day 1’ themed episode of RAW, confronting Jinder Mahal and teasing a potential match with his cousin, Roman Reigns.
On a recent edition of his “Kliq This” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash critiqued The Rock for interrupting Mahal and delivering the “Head of the Table” tease.
Nash said, “It almost felt like it was photoshopped. I got a weird vibe from that whole segment until Dwayne got out there and cut the … ‘Sometimes I eat at the bar … I would much rather eat at the table, maybe the head of the table.’”
Nash said that Mahal coming out before The Rock felt like “fodder,” though he credited the former WWE Champion for his outstanding performance.
