Kevin Owens is thrilled that The Usos and Sami Zayn are receiving their ‘flowers’ after spending years on WWE’s roster.
At WrestleMania 39: Night Owens, Owens and Zayn captured the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles from The Usos in the second-ever tag-team main event in the show’s history.
Speaking to the “Toronto Sun,” Owens spoke about being a part of The Bloodline storyline and shared his praise for Zayn and The Usos. He said,
“That whole story, everybody talks about it as something incredibly special and it certainly is, the story is great, but it wouldn’t have been as great if it wasn’t for the players and the players being great. Man, Sami Zayn and the Usos and Roman and Solo and Paul Heyman and everybody involved in that story, fantastic players, fantastic performers.
“I don’t know how to put it, people have known how good Roman Reigns is for a long time, but it was great to see them all open their eyes to how amazing Sami Zayn and the Usos are. Those are three guys who didn’t get their flowers for way too long, and now they’re getting them.”
Owens is currently out of action with an injury suffered during an episode on RAW last month.
