It’s just a matter of time before Mercedes Mone returns to WWE when the time is right, according to professional wrestling veteran Konnan.
Mone was last seen in WWE in May of last year before she and Trinity walked out of the company due to creative frustrations.
On a recent edition of his “Keepin’ It 100” podcast, Konnan shared his theory that Mone will join the list of several names to ultimately return to WWE. He said,
“She’s a big megastar, looks professional, has worked on ‘The Mandalorian,’ … [and] she’s from their system. I said this a couple of months ago, and I’m going to repeat it again — everybody comes back to WWE.
“We’ve heard WWE say, ‘I’ll never bring this guy back, we’ll never work with him, [and they] bury them on videos,’ [then WWE] brought them back. I’ve heard wrestlers say, ‘I’ll never go back to WWE.’ They did go back.”
After her WWE career, Mone would debut for New Japan Pro Wrestling at Wrestle Kingdom 18 in January of this year. She is currently recovering from an injury.
