Former WWE Superstar Lio Rush was last seen competing at AEW’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view event and has now been cleared to return to the ring. Rush had been out of action for roughly three months rehabbing a torn ACL injury.
Rush made the following statement on his Twitter on Monday:
“Every single day for the past 3 months I’ve been in rehab working harder than I ever have before. Happy to announce that today….I’ve been cleared.”
This comes after announcing his second “retirement” from the squared circle after he wrestled for AEW at Double or Nothing after his intention of fulfilling any commitments and/or obligations to various wrestling companies.
