In his first match since vacating the championship back in October, Jon Moxley defeated Lance Archer on Night 1 of Wrestle Kingdom 14 to win back the IWGP US Heavyweight Championship for a second time.

With this win, Moxley is now scheduled to defend his championship against Juice Robinson on Night 2 of Wrestle Kingdom 14 on January 5th.
