AEW’s Malakai Black has rejected a recent claim that his lack of singles matches in 2023 was because he supposedly refused to get pinned.
Black competed in zero singles matches in AEW, while his House of Black ally Buddy Matthews competed in 6, Brody King in 8, and Julia Hart in 14.
When a fan suggested that Black had refused to be pinned or put other talent over, the Dutch wrestler fired back in a tweet.
Usually I don’t reply because these laughable takes from goofballs like this nerd is why this place is the equivalent of people opening their front doors and screaming their excrement laced opinions into the street, however: bullshit, never happened, isn’t a thing. Happy ny. https://t.co/5kJ6X3YGjo

Black’s most recent singles match for AEW came on the June 22, 2022 edition of AEW Dynamite and saw the former Trios Champion defeat Penta Oscuro.
