WWE NXT announcer Mauro Ranallo is set to return to work for Showtime Championship Boxing this weekend as he’ll be calling the tripleheader action from the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut.
The event takes place on Saturday and marks Showtime’s first boxing event in almost 5 months due to the coronavirus pandemic. There’s no official word on if Mauro will travel to the show or call it from his home with Al Bernstein.
There will be no crowd at the event in Uncasville, according to BoxingScene.com.
