Melina says she received death threats while she was dating John Morrison.
During a recent appearance on the “Wrestling Shoot Interviews” podcast, the former WWE Divas Champion commented on the death threats she received back in the day, her fanbase being “sweet, nice, and cool,” and more.

On getting death threats over her relationship with John Morrison: “I think the only times things have gotten crazy is when I dated John. I got a lot of death threats all the time. People wanted to kill me, and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh. what if this is how I die? Just because I’m dating you? Dude.’ And he’s like, ‘Nothing’s going to happen to you.’ And I’m like, ‘I don’t know, a lot of these people are really serious. Oh my goodness, this is insane.’”
On being lucky with her fanbase compared to others: “I’ve been actually very lucky. Everybody … all my fans are sweet. They’re all nice and cool.”
