MLW has announced that they have hired former WWE creative number and Lucha underground founder Chris DeJoseph as Co-Executive Producer.
Chris may also be known by his WWE stage name Big Dick Johnson, who was regularly used as a comedy foil during DX’s return in 2006.
Speaking with Sports Illustrated, DeJoseph detailed his excitement for this new chapter of his career:
“Since the last season of Lucha Underground, I’ve had an itch to get back in the game. I’ve been watching what they’ve been doing and the steps they are taking to keep building, and I can’t wait to get my hands dirty with MLW.”
“So much has sprouted from the alternative universe of Lucha Underground. The wrestling world is exploding right now, and I’m looking forward to riding that wave.”
