After months of being impacted by the pandemic, MLW is still holding out hope on a marquee matchup. According to Fightful, the company is working towards a Champion vs. Champion match with MLW World Heavyweight Champion Jacob Fatu going one-on-one with MLW National Openweight Champion Alexander Hammerstone. Both men are close to holding their respective titles for nearly 2 years.
The company is planning to hold the match once they’re able to have fans in attendance. Also, the Mads Krugger character has exceeded all expectations where the company is allowing for him to play a big role in the buildup to that particular match.
