More Details On Mandy Rose’s WWE Release

Fightful Select has come through with more details on Mandy Rose’s WWE release.

Those at Fightful were told that things seemed “very hasty” when it came to Mandy Rose dropping the NXT Women’s Championship to Roxanne Perez on Tuesday night. There were rumors in the moments before NXT went on the air that a major title change could be happening, with Mandy dropping the championship.

Those close to Rose claim she was in good spirits at the show on Tuesday night, as well as immediately following the news of her release. From a financial standpoint, she’s going to be fine.

Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin, her stablemates in Toxic Attraction, had several looks on the WWE main roster. They impressed “people of influence,” but no word had been given on a return to the main roster for Mandy.

Mandy Rose was one of many WWE talents that were signed to new, five-year deals in 2019, which means she had nearly two years left on her contract at the time of the release. There were some WWE sources that were trying to leak that Mandy Rose had requested her release two weeks ago, but so far, there is no indication that those rumors are true.
