Major League Wrestling first filed a lawsuit against WWE back in January with several allegations, including interfering with both contracted talent, as well as economic relations.
WWE, however, filed a motion for dismissal a few months later, citing a lack of evidence on MLW’s part, claiming their suit was “implausible and unsupported with factual allegations.”
According to a report from Pwinsider, the lawsuit will, in fact, be moving forward. A hearing is set for September 7, 2023 to set a date for the trial.
