As Andy reported earlier today here on eWrestlingNews.com, Shawn “HBK” Michaels has signed on with WWE to become a coach at the WWE Performance Center. Michaels will soon be relocating to Orlando, FL and is taking over the “finishing class.” This class was previously run by Terry Taylor but Taylor recently suffered a bad neck injury that will require surgery. With that being said, he is unable to continue coaching the “finishing class” until he fully recovers.
As far as current WWE NXT coaches Sara Del Rey and Adam Pearce are concerned, the two of them will be heading to the main roster to take on producer positions at RAW and SmackDown TV tapings. WWE will be looking to add additional staff and coaches at the Performance Center due to this. The company recently brought in Scotty Too Hotty and Stevie Richards for guest coaching spots. There is no word on if they will become full-time roles. For what it’s worth, Adam Pearce got his full-time job with the company after coming in for a “guest training” spot.
