Last weekend’s NJPW G1 Special shows were a huge success. Both Saturday & Sunday night shows from Long Beach, CA were sold out with amped up crowds for both nights. The shows were extremely successful and it was announced that New Japan Pro Wrestling would be coming back to the U.S. in 2018.
A report coming from STRIGGA of Purlove.com, NJPW owner; Takaaki Kidani, spoke with Tokyo Sports and stated that there will be a Los Angeles office for New Japan by the end of 2017 and that an LA New Japan dojo will be opening at the beginning of 2018. There appears to be big plans ahead for New Japan as Kidani said that they are planning on having a set tour schedule of the US not later than March/April of 2018.
