WWE initially had disallowed Jerry Lawler from attending their TV tapings at the Performance Center due to his age and the high-risk group he belongs to (heart condition, including a near fatal heart attack). Despite this, Lawler himself reportedly requested to travel and be a part of RAW this week according to the Observer Newsletter and WWE ended up approving it, albeit to massive criticism. Meanwhile, Vince McMahon – who is actually four years older than Lawler – continues to be present at every WWE taping at the Performance Center, though he has no “underlying conditions” that would make him high-risk apart from his age.
