On the most recent episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, Nikki A.S.H cashed in her Money in the Bank contract and became the WWE RAW Women’s Champion. This marked the beginning of Nikki A.S.H’s first-ever single’s championship reign within WWE.
Now, speaking to The Sunday Post, she commented on what it meant to become RAW Women’s Champion, saying:
“I’m so proud, I’ve been wearing it [the Raw Women’s Championship] round the house, having coffee with it, it’s been underneath my pillow…. when we’re travelling it can let off as many metal detectors as it wants. It hasn’t sunk in yet. It’s a dream, and it feels like I don’t want anyone to wake me up. I was just staring at it when I got back to my hotel room, thinking of all the memories, all the people that helped me, encouraged me and inspired me on my journey.”
Nikki A.S.H would then go on to say she’s ready for any challengers, and specifically named Becky Lynch as someone she would like to face in the ring.
“I’m ready for the challenge from Becky [Lynch], and I truly hope it does happen. Becky and Drew have been amazing role models, inspiring me and creating the blueprint. It’s shown you can be from Scotland, Ireland, the UK and with the right dedication, work ethic and attitude you can make it. You can become WWE Champion”.
Nikki A.S.H and Becky Lynch have fought in singles competition just twice before in WWE, on SmackDown in 2018 and RAW in 2019.
