During a segment on the WWE NXT 2.0 Heatwave special, Diamond Mine was attacked by Gallus; the faction from NXT UK. Julius Creed and Roderick Strong were going back and forth on if Strong’s knee strike was planned with Tony D’Angelo in a six-man tag match three weeks ago.
As Brutus moved to his brother, Julius’ side, the three men started to argue. The members of Gallus then hit the ring and proceeded to attack four members of Diamond Mine, leaving them laying in the ring.
Later in the night, the stable confronted WWE NXT 2.0 UK Tag Team Champions Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen backstage. Gallus challenged them to a tag team title match next week, which the champions readily accepted.
