Rhea Ripley & Dominik Mysterio recently spoke with “The West Sport” to discuss a variety of topics, including their paths to WWE and current stint with The Judgment Day.

You can check out some highlights from the interview below:

Rhea Ripley on making her way to WWE after Emma and Buddy Matthews: “Once WWE had looked at some Australians like Emma made it in, Buddy Murphy made it in, they came back to Australia and they held a tryout and thankfully I got my name thrown in.”

Dominik Mysterio on his initial training: “It started off with him [Rey Mysterio] and Konnan, and then they just sent me away to Tampa Bay to train with Jay Lethal, then I finished there and did three months with Lance Storm in Canada.”

Dominik on being on the road with his dad in WWE: “I think that’s the first time Vince had seen me since I was 12 and I’m 21 at the time, so he was like ‘Oh, this guy’s not a kid anymore, well let’s just throw him on TV, and see what happens.’”

Prior to joining the main WWE NXT brand, Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs had a brief run in NXT UK that included winning the Tag Team Championships.

Speaking on a recent edition of the “Scoop Slam Podcast,” Jensen opined on his time working on the NXT UK brand, who made the call to make them NXT UK Tag Team Champions, and more.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On the talent who came from NXT UK: “Someone said a while back that five to ten years from now, when you watch “NXT UK,” it’s going to be one of those ‘Man, we should’ve appreciated it while we had it’ — the talent that came from there was insane.”

On working over in NXT UK for a bit: “Once I came off the [hand] injury we got the green light that were gonna go to NXT UK, be there for a couple of months, get to train in their facility, which I was looking forward to most because I respect the UK style of wrestling.”

On who made the call to make them NXT UK Tag Team Champions: “I think it was Shawn Michaels’ idea to put the tag belts on us and to bring ’em over here and do something with them. [To] give us some recognition and go back over there and defend them.”
