Paige VanZant has officially signed with AEW, but her career in BKFC will continue and she will train with Gangrel to be ready for her wrestling debut.
BKFC officials said that the former UFC will continue her bare knuckle fighting career and that BKFC and AEW will work together to build VanZant’s career. There is also the hope that VanZant can have a fight in April or May, while her record in BKFC is 0-2. She joined the company in 2020 for a four bout contract after leaving UFC (which she left with a 5-4 record).
In order to be ready for her in ring debut with AEW, she will train at the Coastal Championship Wrestling, which is run by Gangrel.
