Good news from England regarding PROGRESS Wrestling.
The London based company announced on their website a change in ownership: the new owners are Lee McAter and Martyn Best, who are known in the country for being the directors of the League Two Team Tranmere Rovers (fourth tier of English soccer).
PROGRESS will return to live events on January 23rd in Camden, London with a show that will see the World Championship on the line as Cara Noir defends it against Chris Ridgeway. This is not all though: a show in Manchester on February 6th featuring ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham and another one in London on February 20th have been added as well.
This is a welcomed return for a company that among many helped launch the careers of wrestlers like Will Ospreay, Mark Andrews, Mark Haskins, Pete Dunne and Toni Storm.
