According to a report from Pwinsider, the opening segment on last night’s episode of RAW ran much longer than expected. The opening of the show featured a MizTV segment, which led to a Beat the Clock match featuring Nikki Cross and Charlotte Flair. The segment reportedly ran almost ten minutes longer than it was originally planned. As you’d expect, Vince McMahon wasn’t happy about it.
Despite the segment running long, nothing had to be cut from the show but there was time that was cut from other segments and matches. Several of the segments were moved around to different points. The Kofi Kingston vs. Drew McIntyre match was always going to close out the show and was given the same amount of time it was originally scheduled for.
