This past Friday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown saw Drew McIntyre brawling with Roman Reigns, re-igniting their feud.
WWE announced a six-man tag team match for WrestleMania: Backlash where The Bloodline will take on RK-Bro and McIntyre. This nixed previous plans of McIntyre vs. Reigns and SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos vs. RAW Tag Team Champions RK-Bro in a title unification bout at WrestleMania: Backlash.
According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE is looking to hold off on McIntyre vs. Reigns in a singles match until a bigger show as Reigns is the biggest star and WWE sees McIntyre as his biggest possible opponent.
WWE has several stadium shows taking place later this year including Money in the Bank and SummerSlam.
