According to a report from Pwinsider, Tony Khan and AEW are expected to announce soon that Anthony Bowens and Max Caster have signed contracts with AEW. The team will be known as The Acclaim moving forward.
Bowens and Caster have been appearing on AEW Dark in recent weeks.
The Acclaim will be appearing on tonight’s edition of AEW Dark as well, facing Aaron Solow and Angel Fashion.
UPDATE: Anthony Bowens had some interest from WWE prior to him signing with WWE. According to Fightful, WWE never got back to Bowens and coaches and staff were puzzled by that fact. Bowens’ signing with AEW was made official before this month.
