During the latest edition of The Agenda Podcast, former WWE creative team writer Tom Casiello said the decision to turn former WWE “Diva” Eve Torres heel on February 20th, 2012 was made just five minutes before WWE Monday Night RAW going live.
On RAW that night, Torres talked trash to The Bella Twins about Zack Ryder. She then revealed that she had other plans with John Cena. During the time period in question, Torres was one of the top babyfaces of the women’s division. Fans were not happy with the heel turn at the time and Torres wound up leaving WWE the following year.
