Report: FOX & USA “Won’t Be Keen” On Renewing WWE Deals If Saudi Purchase Goes Through

WWE’s reported deal with the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund may spell bad news for the company’s relationship with FOX and the USA Network.

This week, it was reported that WWE has been purchased by the Saudi fund, though neither side has confirmed the reports.

Speaking on a Fightful live-stream, Sean Ross Sapp noted that FOX and the USA Network “won’t be keen on”

renewing with WWE if the Saudi reports are accurate.

Both FOX and Comcast (the parent company of NBC-Universal and the USA Network) were reported as potential buyers alongside the Saudi Public Investment Fund.

Other potential buyers include Disney, Netflix, and Amazon.

During his stream, Sapp added that he received a text from former WWE Superstar Mojo Rawley, who said “sh*t! Maybe I’ll be re-hired!”
