According to a report from the Wrestling Observer, it appears the talent cuts on the main roster are done for now. With that being said, additional WWE NXT cuts are expected. WWE has already released over 100 talents, employees, and personnel as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.

It is also unlikely that more producers will be released. Most of the producers were furloughed, not fired, which means some of them could be brought back. The producers were let go because WWE isn’t running any house shows right now.

In regards to how much money the company is saving by doing the cuts, Jon Fuentes reported earlier this morning here on eWn that the cuts are saving WWE $703,000 per month. The $4 million in savings includes all expenses cut by the company, including the delay of their move into their new Stamford headquarters. On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer added that WWE had been stockpiling talent to avoid them going to All Elite Wrestling (AEW). However, given the economic climate at the moment, they felt comfortable releasing everyone now, expecting AEW won’t hire many people at the moment.
