QT Marshall and All Elite Wrestling are parting ways, as Marshall announced last week that he is leaving the promotion. Marshall will have fulfilled all of his obligations by the end of 2023.
As we previously reported here on eWn, Marshall decided to leave AEW as he wanted to be more active as an on-air wrestler.
According to a report from Sescoops, Marshall initially resigned this past August. His contract with AEW was up on September 1st, and while he had signed a short-term extension to last until the end of 2023, Marshall signed on the premise that he would get more ring time.
However, Marshall never got the opportunity to wrestle on AEW TV, and he will be free to work for other companies from January onwards.
