Sasha Banks is headed to Japan prior to her appearance at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17, which takes place on January 4th.
According to a report from Pwinsider, Banks left for Japan on Tuesday night and she will arrive in a matter of hours. She will be staying in the country for the next few weeks before the big pay-per-view event.
It was previously reported here on eWn that Banks is “done” with WWE after the two sides couldn’t agree on financial terms. Banks will be working several NJPW shows going forward. Of course, NJPW and AEW are closely associated with each other these days so don’t be surprised to see “The Boss” in AEW in the near future.
