Ric Flair came out to make a surprise appearance at the Manhattan Center during the 25th anniversary episode of RAW. PWInsider reports that Flair came out after the DX segment and talked about appearing for the first three RAWs in the arena before he “made the mistake” of going back to WCW.
Flair said that he was lucky that he was able to come back and be with his friends on tonight’s show, and said he received the best send-off of an athlete in history thanks to Shawn Michaels. He said that all that matters is being with people who love and respect you and put over Shawn Michaels, Road Dogg, Scott Hall and Triple H.
The site notes that the crowd “absolutely loved” the appearance.
