Unfortunately, SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Becky Lynch wasn’t able to face RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series. Lynch suffered a concussion and a broken nose, and was forced to be pulled from the card. Charlotte Flair jumped in to face Rousey instead for a great match.
Ric Flair recently joined “The Steve Austin Show” to discuss the match and explained why he liked it so much. Here’s what he had to say:
“I loved them both for different reasons. The one I really love is the one with Ronda because, from the start, and I used to say this about Roman [Reigns], Roman Reigns might not be able to beat Brock Lesnar, but he’s not afraid of him, which is important,” Flair said.
“I actually think from the start of the match, people could feel that [Charlotte] wasn’t afraid of Ronda.”
