WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam has been impressed by the promo skills of Jack Perry ever since his heel turn in AEW.
Perry turned heel at AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door II by attacking HOOK and has gone on to dethrone the second-generation wrestler for the FTW Championship.
On a recent edition of his “1 Of A Kind” podcast, Van Dam said he had been impressed by Perry’s heel turn and work on the mic. He said,
“He had everybody listening to him, you know, smooth. Wasn’t screaming like, ‘I’m gonna rip your head off,’ you know? But it was still getting heat, and he just was comfortable, took his time. So I was impressed with that.”
