During Sunday night’s WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view event, WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns (representing SmackDown) defeated WWE Champion Big E. (representing RAW) by pinfall following a Spear.
While there had been many teases throughout the week on all of WWE’s social media platforms and the actual Survivor Series pay-per-view event itself that The Rock would be appearing on the show, that didn’t wind up happening.
As we reported here on eWn, there had been no talk backstage at Survivor Series on Sunday that The Rock would be showing up live or via a taped promo.
Despite Reigns’ going over Big E. in the main event, WWE RAW still wound winning the battle of brand supremacy by a 5–2 margin.
