RUSH wants to step through AEW’s Forbidden Door.
The former two-time ROH World Champion told Sports Illustrated that he has a strong desire to work for the young promotion, and prove that he is the best against top stars like CM Punk, Kenny Omega, and Bryan Danielson. He said,
“I want to wrestle in AEW. I want matches against CM Punk, Bryan Danielson and Kenny Omega. Everyone in AEW will learn, when you mess with the bull, you get the horns. I feel better than ever and I want to conquer the world, especially the USA. I was away from the ring for a long time, but now it’s time to show everyone who is the No. 1 wrestler in the world.”
While RUSH has yet to face-off against any AEW talents, his brothers Dragon Lee and Dralístico are set to face the legendary Hardys at the upcoming TripleMania pay-per-view event, which is put on by constant AEW collaborator, AAA. He adds that Matt and Jeff are going to find out why his bros are the best tag team in the world.
“My brothers are showing that they are going to position themselves as the best tag team in the world. The Hardys will be the first to find that out at Triplemanía.”
As for what he does next, RUSH promises fans that they will find out soon.
“Big things are going to happen. Very soon, people will learn what I’m going to do next.”
