After previous return vignettes aired in the past few months, Sami Zayn made his much anticipated return at the Raw After Wrestlemania.
Sami Zayn made his way to the ring and said he had a free schedule issuing a challenge for anyone to accept a match with him.
After a brief wait, his challenge was accepted by non other than the new Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor. Before the match started it was announced that the championship was going to be defended in a impromptu title match.
After being defeated by Finn Balor, Sami Zayn grabbed the mic and cut a promo on the WWE Universe calling them “toxic and ugly” and telling the crowd “see you in hell” before making his exit.
