Taya Valkyrie signed a WWE developmental contract in February 2021, following which NXT began airing vignettes to promote her arrival to the brand under the ring name Franky Monet. Valkyrie made her NXT television debut in April and was released just seven months later due to the budget cuts stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Saraya is an admirer of Valkyrie’s in-ring skills and wants AEW to sign the former Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion. Saraya took to Twitter on Saturday to express her desire to see Valkyrie join the AEW women’s division. She wrote:
“I wanna see @thetayavalkyrie in @aew.”
Valkyrie took note of Saraya’s tweet and responded with the following:
