Billy Gunn might be contracted to AEW as an on-screen performer and backstage coach, but he still has ties to WWE. D-Generation X will mark their 25th anniversary as they reunite on RAW in two weeks.
Sean “X-Pac” Waltman, one of his former stablemates in the popular group, wouldn’t rule out the possibility of an appearance from the current “Daddy Ass.”
Speaking during an “X-Pac Live Q&A” for AdFreeShows, Waltman talked about the possibility of Billy Gunn appearing for the upcoming show. Waltman will be on the show alongside Triple H, Road Dogg, and Shawn Michaels.

Billy Gunn being involved in the reunion: “I don’t think that it’s impossible or completely out of the question. It just seems like the whole idea might have been more probable a couple months ago.”
On not being a regular part of WWE’s staff: “I like to just come in once in a while, like we’re gonna be doing on October 10th at the Barclay’s Center, little appearances like that. I go and do the Comic-Con and other appearances. It’s very stress-free, how my life is right now.”
Whether he would like an increased role in WWE: “Sometimes it can get very combative. I just assume to stay slightly removed from all that. I don’t think they really need me, to be honest with myself. Not that I don’t have anything to offer! I wouldn’t mind doing something that wouldn’t require a huge commitment.”
