As noted, WWE revealed that a special called “The Shield’s Last Chapter” will air live on the WWE Network this Sunday from a live event at the Tax Slayer Center in Moline, Illinois.
The Shield is being advertised for a six-man tag team match as they will take on Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin and Bobby Lashley. WWE Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor with the title on the line is also advertised.
Seth Rollins took to his official Twitter account he promised that this is the end of The Shield for a while. Rollins wrote, “I’m pretty stoked about this weekend. Taking the black one more time with my boys…and in my own backyard. We’ve had a lot of “lasts” lately, I know, but I promise this really is the end for a while.”
